We are the Alber family! Currently consisting of myself/wife, husband, daughter, with another daughter on the way, father, our dog (19lb Chihuahua/Pug mix) and cat. We have decided to embark on the journey of the Tiny House Movement! (More on what we personally plan to do later)

I get asked this question frequently. I am posting a link that explains what the Tiny House Movement is in better words than I can and what most think the "technical" term is for the Tiny House Movement. What is the Tiny House Movement?
Why did we choose to embark on this journey?
For each person/couple/family, their answers are going to be different. For us, we have chosen to embark on this journey for a few reasons. We have a desire to be debt free. We have the desire to live a minimalistic lifestyle. Not to rely on so much around us. We have the desire to learn new skills that someday may be a lifesaving endeavor. We have a desire to be closer as a family (not just in space) but as a whole. More into this later!!
We hope that as this journey progresses you will follow us. We will document our feelings, struggles, accomplishments, goals, plans, and so much more as we prepare and live this lifestyle! Happy following!! Hope to see you back here soon!
